Awesome diaper pail Mar 14, 2009
By James Stichnoth This trash can isn't marketed as a diaper pail, but it should be. Already fans of the 13-gallon version, we decided on a pair of these for diaper disposal. We are familiar with many of the popular diaper pails, and the iTouchless has several advantages. Its automatic operation and wide opening mean that you can toss in the messiest diapers without messing the can. And if you do have an "accident", it is easy to clean. It uses standard 8-gallon trash bags, so there's no need to buy special (and expensive) liners.

An indispensable trash can Jun 13, 2007
By Concerned Webmaster If you don't like touching the filthy trash can lid, then this is for you. For the reviewer who said it's hard to get it to open? Not true, I have mine near my desk and it was opening TOO easily so I moved it.
Make sure you remember to buy 4 D batteries.

Love my trashcan! Nov 08, 2008

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I really love this trashcan so I thought I would take a few minutes to do so. $65 is, in my opinion, a lot of money for a trashcan, but I just remodeled my bathroom and decided to splurge. I should actually give this item 4 1/2 stars. The deduction of 1/2 star because this model does not have the option of AC power.
We have a weak sewer system where I live and all tissue must go into the can instead of down the drain. This can does a fantastic job of containing odors! I was hesitant before placing my order due to some customers saying that the lid would open when walking by. I have a tiny bathroom and have not had any problems with the sensor failing to open or opening when not wanted. I have used the can for a little over a month now and it has worked flawlessly. The plastic retainer ring for the bag works great and the stainless steel finish matches perfectly with my other stainless accessories.
I am hoping someone will buy me a 13 gallon to put in the kitchen for Christmas! Cheers and best wishes to all. If you are looking for yourself or as a gift I think you will be happy with the iTouchless trashcan.

Great Little Trash Can Apr 02, 2009
By Gina Silva I love this garbage can! It is the perfect size for our family. We are recyclers and use this trash can for anything that cannot be recycled so we prefer a smaller can. We have not had a problem with automatic lid. It opens every time. No hesitation. My 4 year old calls it Trashy and likes to say hello to it so it will say hello back. (That lasted the first week. He's not doing it so much now.) Also, I really like the steel can. It matches our stainless steel appliances, and is easy to keep clean.
I would highly recommend this product.

ITouchless Stainless Steel 7 gallon Sep 01, 2007
By Barbara Elliott This item is not for a small kitchen; it needs to be in a space where you are not! It is very sensitive and when you are not expecting, the lids pops open. It's gimmicky but can be annoying. I do like the touchless aspect in one respect, that I don't touch the unit.
