 Needs an AC Charge Cord to be complete May 06, 2011

I bought the charger-holder after first purchasing the AC Charge Cord in a separate transaction. Once I had received the cord, I found that I also need the charger-holder in order to charge my streamlight flashlight that I had found in the trunk of a car that I recently bought. So I ordered the charger-holder in a second transaction. Once it arrived, I easily connected it to the charger cord, inserted the flashlight, and everything worked great. It is now mounted on the wall in my garage where it holds the flashlight when not in use. I'm a little concerned about over-charging the battery over the long-run - since the red light which indicates "charging", is always on - even after several days. The documentation claims that the flashlight can't be overcharged, so that gives me some comfort.
Important safety tip: Make sure to get both the charger-holder AND the charger cord - either one by itself won't work.

I received the Steamlight flash light as a fathers day gift, and found that it was perfect for use when traveling. I purchased a 12 volt adaptor so I can keep it charged any where I go. The base holds the flash light securely so there is no worry if it has made contact and is charging, it also is very well constructed.
I'm getting a second set-up for my work truck that can mounted in the cab.

Would have been nice if they had told me that it did not come with the power cord. Once I got the right power cord, works great! Easily mounts to just about anything and long lasting. Sometimes it is a little finicky getting the light into the charger, but be smarter than equipment and slide it in end first. Makes it easier. :-)

I needed a charger for my Streamlight flashlight. This charger is essential and it has a red light that allows the user to find the light in a pitch black room. Also, the light does not come on unless the flashlight is on the charger correctly. The proper way to put the flashlight onto the charger is to slide the small end in and pull down.
The jaws are movable and spring loaded but pushing the fat end of the light into position directly is much more difficult. Just slip in the narrow end and pull and the light easily clicks into place!

I have used this charger for a few months and have had no problems with it. Good charger and does the job.
