I bought 2 pairs of these 6 months ago . I loved them at first, but they are turning black - It's not tarnish, it's the "plating" that's wearing off - and like dime-store earrings, they're not sterling silver under the plating. I'm going to call and try to return them, but hopefully you will all save yourself the hassle...

These are perfect simple hoops. Nothing fancy, no frills just the basic hoop earring that you need in your wardrobe. For the price they are well worth it!

Once ordered, I received these rather quickly. They were packaged perfectly and exactly what I expected! The problem, one of the earrings had a faulty closure. The first time I wore them, one fell out. I was happy to have found it. Thinking that I may not have closed it completely, I was very careful and payed close attention the next time I wore them, to be sure they were closed so I wouldn't lose them again. The next time I wore them, again one of the earrings fell out only this time I wasn't as fortunate to find it :(

They are not made of sterling silver, I gave them to my girlfriend and on the second day they start to peal, I think ther are made from plastic......bad purchase!!

My wife was skeptical about getting silver earrings since if they tarnish she gets an infection in her ear. This one has not tarnished so it gets a good rating. However, it is a little bigger than we had anticipated, so I cannot give it a top mark.
