Nice small silver earrings Sep 22, 2010

The earrings are small, which is what I wanted: I can sleep with them. The endless hoop closures aren't easy to fasten, but there is no protruding sharp thing to poke you. My fist pair had a defective mechanism. The seller promptly aent me a replacement pair, AND a pre-paid envelope to send back the defective pair. You can't ask for more from a seller.
Silver earrings are cheaper than gold, so if you loose one in daily activities, it isn't a big deal. Silver is also great for ears with sore piercings: if the ear is sore, put in the silver earrings, and it will heal promptly (silver kills germs), and the hole will not heal closed.

These earrings are just what I was looking for! They are good quality and not too expensive. And although my ears react to a lot of earrings (they will get red and start to hurt), these earrings haven't bothered them at all... and I have been wearing them every day for about a month now. They are a little hard to get in initially, but once they are in they stay closed and never fall out. The only issue I have with them is that if you squeeze them all the way shut (so that the thinner wire is completely inside the thicker one), they don't form a perfect circle anymore, and are more oval-ish. But it doesn't really bother me enough to give them less than a 5-star rating. :)

I'm super happy with these earrings. Most of the reviews talk about how challenging they are to close - which is kind of accurate, tho not completely. Unless you've got monster-sized earlobes, it's not so bad. I wanted small and long lasting sleeper earrings, and these are them. They're a little bigger than I would like. I ordered the 3/8 & the 1/2 size and the 3/8 was just about perfect, with the 1/2 the tiniest bit too big. I'm still loving them and using them, but the 3/8 size isn't as small as the reviews make them out to be. Also, if you're really having a hard time closing these earrings, turn them around so the closure is at the front and you can see what you're doing in a mirror.

These earrings are very well made. I have a hard time with alot of earrings but have never had a problem with these. Great earrings.
