 Not worth your money Jun 07, 2010
Not as nice as the pix - we regifted them rather than even bothering to keep them...

1. "Diamond Accent" may not mean what you think it means! I thought it meant tiny diamonds, or even diamond "dust" was encrusted into the sterling silver. That is NOT what is on these earrings. The sterling silver is made in a way to reflect light the way diamonds might. It is made this way from top-to-bottom only on the parts you would see from the FRONT. Essentially, if you wore these earrings backward, it would be smooth sterling silver with small divets lining it.
2. The reason the description says, "Material: Diamond..." is because the earrings DO have diamonds on them... ONE each. That's right, there is one TINY diamond on each earring in the front and center. However, do not be fooled. The sterling silver reflects light better than the diamonds. They are TERRIBLE quality. The "color" of the diamonds can be described as gray and do not reflect any light the way diamonds are supposed to.
3. These earrings are worth the $11 I paid for them because essentially they are just sterling silver hoops. But they are NOT worth a penny more.

The diamonds do go all the way around, they are on the outside half and then on the inside half so when you wear them you can see the ones on the other half of the earring! When you consider the price I think they're a great deal. You couldn't get a pair of earrings this nice at Walmart for $12! The diamonds are very small but are a nice light weight hoop overall.

I was looking for some stylish light-weight diamond hoop earrings for my teenage daughter. They are lightweight and look dainty, but the diamond accent does not encompass the entire hoop. The diamond accent only goes around half way. I was very disappointed that the item was improperly pictured (it looks like the diamonds go all the way around, which is what you would expect), and nowhere did it include informtion that the diamond accent only went half-way around the hoop. Overall they are nice and what I was looking for, but a BIG disappointment when I opened the box. The price is right and they are nice enough so I will probably keep them, but felt tricked when I received the product.
