I am hearing impaired and wanted an alarm clock that would actually wake me up. I purchased the Sonic Bomb Jr., and it's loud. Like, really loud! The "bed shaker" feature also helps wake me up. If you are looking for an alarm clock that will wake the dead, and is reasonably priced, try this one! Couldn't be happier....

This alarm is perfect! I am a very deep sleeper and this wakes me up every time! I love the long wires so I can move it around without pulling the plug out. Bought one for myself and a friend :)

This is a great clock! Bed vibrates, lights flash, and a beep sounds. It really wakes my son up in the morning--he never ignores the alarm.

I bought this for my grandmother who is deaf in one ear and cannot hear a regular alarm if she is sleeping on that side. The morning after we set up the clock, she said the vibrating pad (we put it under her pillow) almost made her jump out of bed! She is very pleased with it and happy she purchased it.

My daughter is a VERY heavy sleeper. This alarm works great. I don't use the vibrator because she would just pull the alarm clock to her bed by the wire and turn it off.

I have now set the alarm across the room so she has to actually get out of bed to turn it off.

I also like that the alarm will not time out if she chooses to ignore it.

This is an excellent alarm clock.
