5Garmin Speed Cadence Sensor  Mar 24, 2011
By Evan Krichevsky
I bought the cadence sensor to replace the previous sensor on my bike. I lost the magnet on one of my commutes home. The part was ordered and delivered on time. I have mounted the magnet and will be able to record my cadence during rides again.

2Spoke Magnet design is problematic  Oct 24, 2011
By JCallanan
The cheap plastic clamp that is supposed to hold the magnet to the spoke does not hold up well. I have had four of them crack and fly off due to speed and vibration. When it's on, it works great, but the problem is, it just does not stay attached to the bike.

5Perfect replacement to an excellent system.  Jul 22, 2011
By D. Beekman
I purchased this replacement for my Garmin GSC 10 Speed/Cadence Bike Sensor. My original sensor feel off during a ride. Replacement works great. I would recommend putting a little electrical tape around the sensor when you install it on the bike. I've found this an easy way to prevent the sensor from falling off again. Happy riding!

1Cheap plastic speed sensor (spoke mounted)  May 13, 2012
By xphysicist
I just got the gsc 10. The plastic nut broke even as I was tightening the metal magnet over the spoke. I have tried a washer and a nut but not been able to find a workaround. This part of the sensor is poorly designed. In general I have done well with Garmin products but reading about others who have had this issue I recommend that Garmin do something about the quality of manufacturing of this part. I hate to order this part again as I have not even used the gsc 10 yet.

3Garmin speed and cadence senosr  Mar 09, 2012
By Mark C. Bates
The product is great! The problem is that I didn't get all my parts. I ordered two of these so that I could replace my lost cadence magnet and have a back up for if I lost another off one of my bikes. One was complete. The other was missing the cadence magnet that goes on the left crank and the speed sensor magnet that goes on the spokes. It's a wonder these things ever get there still in the package because they put them in a little plastic bag just folded over with a little piece of tape to keep it closed. The frustrating thing is that I could not find a number to call Amazon to let them know I didn't get everything. I've spent thousands of dollars on products from Amazon and their affiliates over the years and have never had a problem before. Hopefully this will be an isolated problem, but it would be nice for them to put a phone number on their site for these kinds of problems.
