Good Crate for puppy. Jun 27, 2011

Although this crate may be seen as being more suitable for a medium sized dog, our small dog much prefers it to the smaller crate. She has enough room to be comfortable and turn around without difficulty but not enough to allow her to soil her sleeping area. She has no difficulty walking in there now when it's time for a nap or when we need some time to do chores where we can't watch her as much as we need to. It works well as a transport crate and makes her feel secure and comfortable when she's in the car. An all around good product.

I ordered this kennel to be shipped quickly (one day) to my cousin in Indiana so that he could have my mother's cat flown to me on Delta. She flew unaccompanied, through Delta's PetsFirst program. I did not see the kennel in person before purchasing it, but read reviews that stated that it was the way to go for air travel for a cat or dog. Because I had the cat's ticket, she had to arrive at the airport on time and the kennel needed to be perfect with minimal tweaking from my cousin. It WAS perfect. Delta checked the box stating that the kennel me all requirements. I did buy it a bit on the large size for my mother's 17-pound cat ("medium"). It arrived at my cousin's house exactly when it was supposed to and was perfect all around. Kitty did well on her flight and is settling in.

It is a nice little carrier. Not as good with the clamps as the ones from the past. Then again, I'm not sure if I really recieved a 200 or a medium. They are the same in size, but from what I've seen online at other places, I think they are a different product.

My 21 year old cat Todd loves travelling. When I am on a holiday I always put him into the kannel. He isn't nervous about the kennel and doesn't make any noise. Very good. On the scale of 1 to 10 I give it A 10

I have the vari kennel model 100 or small and am so dissapointed the company has decided to stop making the traditional vari kennel in the size 100. They do still offer the model 100 in plain cream color but why are none of the new ones made in the size 100 anymore? I liked the shorter length but wider opening of the vari kennel over the other all plastic kennels as getting a pet out of it was so much easier, and the 28" long would be really quite huge for a cat! The 100 is perfect for a large cat I wish they would make them in colors and without the big lug things on top and the floor the unsmooth floor of the traditional model is not the most comfortable for the pet. As for quality the vari kennel is tops and the finest around.
