Better than the fancy ones Aug 26, 2007
By Charity Thoman

I tried to use the fancy plug covers first- the ones where you have to squeeze the sides to pull it out. They never worked, so I bought these. These are much better! I was worried that my son could pull them out, since they are such a simple design, but he can't. He has tried. I suggest you forget the hi tech covers and go with these. Plus there are a ton in the package. They will cover the whole house.

Hard to say! Dec 13, 2007
By Joyce A. Shibilia

What I like the most about these is also what I like the least. They are extremely difficult to get out once put in. (Especially a NEW outlet) That's good if you have an extremely craftly little tot who can get into anything. Hard for Mom when you want to plug in the vacuum.

Outlet Plugs Jan 09, 2008
By S. A. Any type of these work well, really. I've yet to see either of my children pick them off. Though they are kind of hard to get off yourself when you get to get to the outlet.

My 8 month old baby pulls out these outlet plugs so easily! Jul 18, 2010
By K. Buentipo I bought these outlet plugs based on the reviews. We live in a 21 year old home, and maybe our outlets are just not as tight as newer homes? I don't know the reason, but these outlet plugs are too easy for my 8 month old to pull out. He actually loves pulling them out! But, this product does give me enough time to get to him before he jams his fingers in the outlet.

Finally! Outlet plugs that are smarter than my 1 year old! Mar 21, 2010

I had purchased a number of "fancy" outlet plugs. Many claiming to make it hard for a toddler to get out but easy for an adult to. My one-year old figured them all out and I was getting frustrated. Mommy's Helper Outlet Plugs resolved that frustration. It is actually hard for my child to remove them from sockets and while it takes more effort for me to remove them, I rather that than my child be electrocuted. Did I mention they are alot cheaper than the "fancy" alternatives?
