One of the most functional Surge sheaths/holders/pouches out there! Sep 17, 2009
By Mr. M I have the molle types, the leather sheaths and this is my favorite.
It is easiest to keep sideways and in the front of my belt comparing to other sheaths made for Surge, that I have used. My Leatherman Surge sits secure in this one. I feel it is the less bulky and stays in place the best.
If you use it a lot, the velcro closing will start to wear out eventually, but you can either fix it, put a snap closure on it later if need be, or just buy a couple of these sheaths.
As an added bonus, I found that my Garmin Quest and some cameras fits in snug - read perfect - too. So I got a few extra ones for non-surge usage as well.
Very handy little pouch, very functional, good price even shipping might be a little much for a single item. But again, buy two.

good buy, to find out why i think so, read the review !!!!! Dec 30, 2010
By R. Carlson if you purchase this for the skeletool, its a bit big for it.. it does work none the less i use it on mine i need the space... but other wise im sure its fine..
this has 2 side like pen holders down the side of it.. whcih is cool u could put little mini flashlight and some batterys there.. in the front there is a little pouch as well..i put some kleenex in there for tinder.. inside the main pouch where the leathermen would go there is another slit in the back.. i put a few books of matches in there myself..
other thoughts my bessy razor knife fits in it..
i managed to fit 20 feet of para cord to it..includeing all the lineings its always a nice idea to carry a bit of cord around with ya in case a real emergency..
as well this is velcrow only, there is no button, snap or anything, it is verry strong .. well we all know velcrow dies over time..ill prob fit a button to mine sometime.. but i cant say mine is broken, because its not, its nice, its strong on the velcrow right now!
hey never know..load it up..whats it matter... if theres ever a real emergency youl thank the guy on amazon that reccomended to do so! lol this is my edc..... ie: everyday carry, with my leatherman skeletool, paracord, mini flashlight, matches, tinder..and im prolly going to add some stuff... :)

Good for layman Apr 01, 2012
By H. Wickberg Good sheath unless you plan on carrying bit kit,bit extension & extra 1/4 & 5/16 drivers. As an HVACR tech. I carry all that but it's very tight in this sheath.Extra large molle sheath is the ticket. But for the folks who just want the multy tool and maybe an accesory or two this sheath fits the bill. Has one interior pocket that fits the bit kit and extra blade/file and two elastic "tubes" one on either side for carrying extension and driver but they are open on the bottom making loss of anything carried in them likely. May sew the bottoms closed on mine if I ever use it.
Too big for edc Oct 31, 2011
By Ethan Before I got this, I had the original style pouch, wich was just 2 pieces of nylon sewn together at the edges and i loved it. This new pouch is simply too big. It has enough room to hold my leatherman Surge, the extra saw/file blades, and the screwdriver bit set, and still holds the knife loosely with everything inside. if you dont have all of the stuff inside of it though, the pouch is too loose for the knife. When full, it sticks out from my belt about 2 1/8", A full 1/2" more than my old pouch. It is way too bulky for every-day-carry. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it does hold the entire set quite well, and the vertical loops will fit on a 2" duty belt almost perfectly. For that reason, I will keep it on my bug out gear for now and keep my eye out for the old style pouch. All in all, I would recommend it for a utility purpose, but only if you have the bit set and dont plan to carry it every day.
