The best playing cards around Jul 13, 2010 This is my second set of KEM cards, and they are as good as always. The Paisley design is very attractive (I prefer it over then the arrow design), they reshape after bending, and the plastic cards slide well over many different surfaces. On my first set of KEM cards, the design began to show scratches after about 2 years of weekly play, so I replaced them with these, but those older cards still play and feel great. Well worth the cost, as they will likely last the average player many years.
Only complaint on this shipment was that the paper sleeve that wraps the plastic case was ripped. But you throw that away anyway, so no big deal. Rest of the pack was in good shape.
Couple of tips - get the bridge size cards if you're playing poker. They are easier to handle and plenty big. And don't leave them in your car or out in the sun, even in the nice hard plastic case. They are plastic, so they will melt.
Best Playing Cards Feb 27, 2010 If you are looking for long lasting playing cards with great visibility, these are the cards. My duplicate bridge group will only use these cards. Eliminate dog ears, bends and cracks, finger smudges plus they can be easily cleaned with soap and water. These are the best cards made.
Best Cards I have ever used!!! Feb 20, 2010 I usually go through a couple of decks of bicycle cards a year. They start to get sticky, hard to shuffle and not to long after that get tossed in the garbage.
These KEM cards are phenomenal. They don't get that build up of gunk on them, shuffle great, don't bend, simply put they are the best cards I have used. I will not be using anything else.
Highly Detailed Feb 13, 2010 These cards are rich, vibrant in color and highly detailed. Unlike other decks, the faces of the paint cards (K,Q,J) are livened up with a nice skin-tone hue. There isn't anything more I can say about the durability of these cards that hasn't already been established by KEM's long standing reputation; Great product.
KEM Playing Cards Jan 10, 2010 Very happy for this purchase. We play cards often and have used KEM plastic playing cards for years. They were wearing out. I searched the stores, where we used to buy them, for new ones. Was told that KEM is out of business. Found the same information online. By chance, I checked with Amaxon.com. I was very, very happy to find them. They came quickly and exactly as described. Thanks Amazon.com for having what I wanted.
