Fresh... Sep 12, 2009
By A. Wong Batteries... D-Cells... They were fresh and had plenty of time left before they expired. What more do you need to know? One tip though, I found it's cheaper to buy them at Home Depot, but buying here is a good alternative if you are strapped for time.

Who Isn't always looking for a Battery? Jun 10, 2011
By Bob L. Murray Don't know about you but I am always looking for that replacement battery that I used last week or before. With This nice 4 Pack and the Convenient Subscription Discount I always have the battery I need WHEN I need it and not having to run out to the store for it. With the price of Gas now and Amazon Prime's Free Freight This makes this a no Brainer. That is unless you just love spending your time and money running out for a battery.

WATCH FOR OLD EXPIRATION DATES!!!!! Mar 16, 2012
By Caligula68

Be sure to check the expiration date on your batteries when they arrive. I got some supposed to have a 5 year expire date and they only had 3. AMAZON tried to make it "right" and send me some with 4 year expiration dates while allowing me to keep the ones with 3 year expire dates::::-CAVEAT EMPTOR

Lasts longer than Duracell Jul 14, 2011
By akshatp I use these in my external camera flash. I find they last a lot longer than the Duracell brand. And Amazon sells them at a price where you could only get 4 at your local pharmacy.

Best batteries ever! Jan 16, 2012
By P. Shah I try and be frugal as much as I can, but I learned that I shouldn't cut the corner with batteries. I've bought many of the store brand batteries and they simply do not last as long as the Energizer batteries, it's worth paying a few dollars more, because in the long run it's actually cheaper.
