Recommended Camping Item Jul 20, 2010 This camper toilet is easy to use , clean and refill. I like that it sits up higher than other models and has the larger waste tank capacity. The only thing to be careful of is the difference of pressure that can build up in the waste compartment - open the flush valve slowly and always with the lid down cause it can spray back up sometimes.
for a boat Jul 02, 2010 We bought this to use on our boat and it works great. Easy to clean and high enough you do not feel you are sitting on the deck.
Great For The Boat May 22, 2010 We purchased this toilet for the boat and it works great, flushes great and is easy to empty, I would recommend this product very highly, it is definately worth the money.

Easy Operation May 21, 2009 I recently purchased this portable toilet for a trip to bike week. We have an enclosed trailer that we added a bath and kitchen too. Instead of adding a holding tank we bought this toilet since we would only be going on weekend trips. I was so impressed with this product. It worked great for the weekend, never a problem with operation, and was easy to empty and clean. I would recommend this product for the weekend camper.

Functional, simple, useful. May 03, 2007 The good:
- It works as advertised
- Does not leak, unless it tips over during transport (the fresh water tank leaks)
- Seems solid in body, seals and connections, except the cover (don't stand on it).
The not as good:
- Flushing tube is not too powerful, perhaps having multiple nozzles would have helped. It seems to only rinse a certain section of the bowl.
- It leaks when it tips over (which you should guard against), probably from the bellows or rinse tube (it leaks clean water only)
- It is prone to tipping over when it only has fresh water in it (becomes top-heavy). The smaller model probably would be more stable.
- It lacks a pressure-relief valve which some more expensive toilets have. When it comes time to empty the waste tank, one must be rather careful when opening it as internal pressure build-up can cause it to splash initially, probably in your face. Alternatively, relieve pressure with the cover down, then remove the tank.
I have not tried any chemicals in it yet (short trips).
