Works Great At A Terrific Price Nov 07, 2007
By Jabberwock I now own three of these. One is in the back of the van we take on road trips. (Ever been to a rest stop at the Mexican border?) One is in a spare room, just in case someone needs it -- we have a room renter who spends more time in our bathroom than the rest of us put together. The one I just ordered is going in a detached garage/office. Odd uses? Maybe. But the portable toilet is solidly built, doesn't leak, and works beautifully. The one in the van completely flipped over on one trip to San Francisco and was just fine when set upright again. A great deal!

Better than a trip down a spiral staircase at night Aug 13, 2008
By Lois Groat We bought this toilet to take on vacation with us for two weeks. We were staying in an A frame cottage with one bathroom with our family of nine. My husband and I put this toilet in our bedroom that was upstairs - up a little spiral staircase. It was very nice to not have to come down the staircase at night. The toilet traps odors VERY well. It never made our room have a bad odor. We emptied it every day, and I will admit that that was not a pleasant job, but we decided it was worth it. Do buy deodorizer. That makes the emptying job less disgusting. I am 46, and a bit pudgy, and using the toilet was no problem for me. I could not have used it easily last summer, when I weighed 50 pounds more, however. It is a little low to the ground, so someone who is not spry might not be able to use it easily.

Good but not great ... Nov 11, 2008
By Michael W. Scott Bought this product for a family trip to be used in our minivan. The kids like the flushing aspect like a "real" toilet, one reason I picked this over more expensive ones. Read that the 5 gal. tipped over; it was TOP heavy. Well, this one is too, not to mention that the bottom is not "flat" per se, and is narrower than the top. It tipped over a couple of times (empty, except water), so I purchased a plastic 28 qt. costume box from Walmart to stabilize it, which fit the bottom perfectly, and it still tipped over. So, the moral of the story kids is ... if you buy this, you have to tie this ... down.

Portable toilet review Apr 02, 2007
By Barbara A. Bouter

Arrived in excellent condition in a couple of days of ordering. Haven't used it yet but seems to be ok and looks really good. This replaces an existing portable unit that died after many years. I live in an area when the electric goes out so does my water pump so these portable units are a godsend.
