Worth The Money Aug 18, 2009
By Johnnie Smith I have been looking for this model for a long time. I had a similar one before. It does everything it is suppose too. Lots of power with the variable speed. Just the right size to do any job. I use it to get the oxidation off my Ranger bass boat which has gel coat. This is the only one I have found with the power and speed to do it. I have 2 other polishers but neither have the power to cut through the oxidation.
The only problem is the bonnet will not stay on the head. The previous one I owned had a bonnet which tied on with a string going through the bonnet. There is also only 1 pad which is to be used for all applications. It really doesn't work for all or you need many pads to do all of your applications. I wish it had a pad to put on to polish, one to take it off and one for buffing.
The unit is also very heavy. It will do the job very well but after a while your arms are getting tired.

b&d trustworthy Feb 19, 2011
By bigg_arnn Bought this buffer and used 2 day shipping.Came on time and I could"nt wait to try it out.I live in Cleveland and got lucky to catch a fair weather day in January. This thing is very strong, very dependable, and I am extremely pleased with it.I ordered a set of quality foam and wool pads to go with it because I wanted velcro attachments. This tool is worth wayyy more.I was looking to spend between $100 -$200 for a buffer so with the money I saved I purchased compound swirl remover and polish along with the pads. You will not be dissapointed.I detailed someones car after they saw mine and got all of the money that I had spent right back.GOD bless you and have a good day!

By Mia23life Bought this B&D polisher and it works great!!! I was going to buy a DeWalt but it was alot more $$$. I made a great choice because this one is just as powerful. Great power and torque! If you are looking to buy one, buy this one it's worth the $$$!

Really impressed! Mar 26, 2011
By Michael A Shay This is a great product, I polished both mine and my wife's vehicles today and it more the paid for itself in one use, considering most car washes charge around $90.00 a vehicle for a wash and wax, this is a well made quality product that will save you time and money for years to come!

Workhorse Buffer/Polisher Jul 25, 2011
By Robert P. Smith My 2001 t-2000 KW Tractor is an old CFI Tractor. It is Viper Red just like all CFI tractors and over the years had really turned more of a flat pink color. I used Maquire's Number 4 polish and Maquire's number 26 yellow wax and I ordered the Black & Decker WP107B 7" Sander/Polisher to do the job with. It has a variable speed (1-6) dial on the handle and I found the perfect speed to not only polish and wax the cab, but to polish my aluminum wheels to a chrome like finish with the help of several Zephyer polishing wheels and polishing rouge that I picked up at the local TA truckstop. FYI, the arbor on this polisher is 5/8" but it is not quite long enough to use the safety flanges that you are supposed to use with the Zyphyer polishing wheels. I could only use one. Also, the polisher is a little large to polish the wheels on the truck. In order to get the buffer all the way down into the center of the wheels, you must take the wheels off the truck. However, I think it is easier that way anyway. This is a heavy duty polisher and will take a lot of work out of cleaning and polishing whatever you want to polish. The only complaint I had after making my truck look nice is, because it is such a "heavy" duty polisher, I was pretty sore the next day because I was not used to lifting that much polisher around. But the results were worth the soreness.
