5Used this for a week now.............  Aug 02, 2008

............and it works very well. In fact, it outperforms my Bosch grinder, is quieter and I've had NO issue with static electricity causing the grounds to cling to anything! In fact, when I'm finished grinding I pour the grounds directly in to the filter in the coffee maker and it leaves no particles of coffee in the grinder at all! Great little item.

Bought it for my daughter and she's been using it every day for over a year. It still grinds like a champ.

5An excellent little grinder.  May 25, 2008
By W. Phillips "Coffehound"
I bought this for my mother, and so far have been very happy with it. It is very quiet and we have no problems getting whatever grind we desire. However we do not make espresso at home so I am not sure whether this grinder would do a fine enough grind for espresso, but for mom's drip coffeemaker it does just fine. It is small though, and for a really big pot I have to grind two batches. Despite it's size it seems very sturdy and I was so suprised at how quiet it was compared to my own Capresso Cool Grind or my Cuisinart burr mill. Unlike the previous reviewer I have had no static problems. All the coffee mills I have tried have some sort of static "cling", but not enough to cause me any problems. All in all a very decent blade grinder for the price.

5Black & Decker CBG100W Coffee Grinder  Jun 07, 2010
By T. gibson "Snosbig"
Bought 1 of these @ Wally World almost 3 years ago & it is still going strong. I grind for a french press & they recommend coarse, this makes a nice coarse grind but you need to monitor when to stop. If you prefer a fine grind, this will also produce a fine grind just as well. I'm using a VERY oily espresso bean & there is a minor build-up inside afterwards, but you get used to how to wipe out the 1/4 of a teaspoon or so that get's caught up = not a problem. Other reviewers complain about the start button being attached to the lid.....I dunno why, I think it's a great design because you can't turn it on without the lid being on & that means the tips of my fingers are SAFE! :) I get a HUGE amount of compliments about my home brew and I smile knowing I use this inexpensive grinder when others think ya need a Burr I say :P them

1Awkward design, great for spilling everywhere  Aug 16, 2006
By B. Branch
The gray piece in front is part of the lid, which makes it awkward to handle. If you don't mind making a big mess, it's a very quiet machine, even if you manage to open it and grind beans.
